For Vito Braet it will be his first Tour de France, although he was already driving the Tour of Spain last year. There he became third in the ride to Santander. “I know what I can expect from three weeks of course, but as you see everything: the tour is still something else,” says Braet. “The entire media event is extreme.” Yet he is optimistic, especially after a strong spring in which he became twice second in the Boucles de la Mayenne. “The victory is not there yet, but we are going to do everything to make it succeed this time.”
