To Lille
Cees Bol, born in Zaandam and now living in Alkmaar, was bike on Tuesday after his illness. He rode a 170 kilometer training ride through Noord-Holland. “I felt good after that. Glad the kilometers are in the legs. Now travel to Lille and then it will start on Saturday,” says Bol.
For the cyclist it will be the sixth time that he participates in the most important journey race of the year.
In recent years, Cees Bol has been driving Sprinter Mark Cavendish. The Brit is now retired and that offers more opportunities for BOL to go for his own opportunities.
