Youcef Belaïli, a 33-year-old Algerian striker, was arrested on Wednesday morning at the Roissy-Charles de Gaulle airport. The footballer, back from the participation in the Club World Championship with the Espérance Sportive de Tunis, is suspected of having had an on -board bright altercation on an Air France flight from New York.

As soon as you land in Paris, where a flight was scheduled to coincide for Algeria, Belaïli was stopped by the French police and placed in a stop. On social media they circulate video showing the handcuffed striker while conducted by the agents inside the airport. According to the first reconstructions and according to what was also reported by the father of the footballer to the French media, the reason for the dispute would have been a refusal by the flight staff to the request to be able to undo the safety belts to the small son. From there, the tones of the discussion would have risen, subsequently forcing the intervention of the Parisian law enforcement agencies.
After the consequent checks at the airport, Belaili was then released and was able to return to Algeria. Belaïli, with 57 appearances and 10 goals with the Algerian national team, had several experiences in Ligue 1 with Angers, Brest and Ajaccio. He currently plays in Tunisia with Espérance, a team with which he participated in the group stage of the Club World Cup in the United States, closed with a victory and two defeats. The last game played was June 25 against Chelsea (0-3 defeat in Philadelphia).
