The retailer KIK Textiles and Non-Food GmbH must now do without his Chief Operating Officer (COO) Dirk Ankenbrand.
Anken fire ended his work in the company on July 1, for personal reasons, Kik said on Tuesday. The decision was “made in close coordination with Kik CEO Patrick Zahn and the KIK shareholder Tengelmann Twenty-One KG” and was “noticed with great respect,” said the company.
As a succession, the retailer wants to comment “in due course”. Until further notice, CEO Zahn Ankenbrand’s previous areas of responsibility should now be responsible. Ankenbrand came to Kik in May 2021 and was promoted to the management in January 2023. There he had headed the areas of range management, purchasing, logistics, supply chain and marketing/CRM as a cooo.
