Douwe Bob gets a hard article on his ears from De Telegraaf. The Dagblad questions the integrity of the singer and states that he is lying about his temporary departure from the Netherlands.
Douwe Bob would actually give a performance for Jewish children last weekend, but he walked away because he saw ‘Zionism’ on a poster somewhere. Many critics went loose on him, including VVD leader Dilan Yesilgöz, who more or less put him down like a Jewish hater. The singer said he received an incredible number of threats.
Total lie
Douwe even posted last night Instagram That he has fled from home. “I write this from the car en route from the way to guarantee the safety of my family and myself, we have decided to leave for the time being. On the advice of the police.”
It is partly due to the media, according to the singer. “In the media and by politicians, the image is still being sketched that I did not want to play for children because of their Jewish descent. If I heard that I would be honest, I would be furious. Fortunately this is a total lie.”
Sympathy
It led to an incredible amount of compassion and statements of support from the Dutch celebrities. “No, right? Oh man … horrible. ❤️,” said Angela Groothuizen. And Patty Brard: “Lots of love from us! ❤️”
Patty sat in Shownieuws against a man who thinks very differently about it last night: Bram Moszkowicz. He even came up with a nickname for Douwe Bob: stupid Bob. He also questioned Douwe’s integrity. “To begin with: the police have not confirmed that he is being threatened. That is point one.”
Not on advice
Now Douwe also gets De Telegraaf over him. He reports that he was not at all fled on the advice of the police. “He left the Netherlands on his own initiative, and not on the advice of the police. According to sources of De Telegraaf, it was not a formal evacuation, but a personal decision that followed conversations with the police.”
According to the sources, it is true that Douwe has been threatened, but no formal threat analysis has yet been made by the police, according to De Telegraaf. However, the police promised extra surveillance at his home and a so -called aol was placed at his address. “This means that the police immediately occur at a report at that address.”
Emotions
Douwe’s wife became emotional yesterday during conversations with the police at their home. He asked the police if they could guarantee their safety, but such a guarantee is never given. “According to insiders, Douwe Bob interpreted this as a sign that he could leave better abroad.”
Douwe left ‘on his own initiative and on its own’, according to the sources of the newspaper. “The insiders say that the family was not brought across the border with a police car.”
In other words: Douwe is not honest according to the newspaper. What does his manager say? “I don’t want to respond to sources.”
