Trump: Israel Agreement with conditions 60-day file in Gaza
US President Donald Trump says on social media that Israel has agreed to “the necessary conditions for completing a cease-fire of 60 days in Gaza. During this time we will work with all parties to end the war,” said Trump.
The American news site Axios, however, reports that Israeli officials have warned that the army is performing its operations in Gaza as negotiations about a ceasefire and prison exchange do not make progress quickly. “We will do what we have done with Rafah with Gaza City. Everything will turn into dust,” said one of the quoted Israeli officials.
Israel ordered citizens in Gaza city to evacuate to the south on Monday. According to the channel Al Jazeera, that indicates that the army is preparing for an extension of the ground offensive.
