The 31-year-old Bruil started more than ten years ago as a trainer of the women of SC Heerenveen. From 2021 she is at Ajax: first as an assistant trainer and in recent years as head of the talent team.
“Didn’t have to think long”
Bruil says he is really looking forward to taking on this challenge. “In recent years I have become well known with the club, the players and other staff members. I didn’t have to think long when I was asked if I wanted to be head coach of the first.”
Technical director Alex Kroes describes Bruil as “talented and inspired trainer with a huge amount of dedication”.
