Victories are anything but a rarity for the US national team of women. Now the record world champions have cracked a special brand.

A special evening in Cincinnati: The US national team of women has reached a milestone against Ireland. In the clear 4-0 win, the team of trainer Emma Hayes won the 600th international victory in its history.

The record world champion contested 768 games – only 77 of them were lost. For comparison: The German national team has so far been 382 victories in 548 games and received 96 defeats.

Hayes sent an inexperienced team to the field at the game at the TQL Stadium. Only captain Lynn Biyendolo had played more than ten caps before kick -off. It put the United States in the lead in the 11th minute. Even before the break, Isabel Rodriguez (42.) increased before Yazmen Ryan (66.) and Alyssa Thompson (86.) produced the final score.

It was the second meeting between the USA and Ireland within a few days – the first duel on Friday also ended 4-0 for the Americans.
