Finland excelled at the Cheerleading European Championships in Slovenia, while the teams grabbed four gold medals and a total of 12 medals from the Sunday races.
The medal catches are the biggest ever Finnish team in the European Championships.
In the adult series, the European Championship was captured by HAC Elite in the Women’s Cheer Series from Helsinki and Dream Team Dancers from Tampere in the Adult Cheater Series. Both teams are celebrating their fourth consecutive European Championship gold.
– An insanely good feeling right now! We were excited to the very last whether the gold would come this time or not because the series is really tight and there was one clearer mistake in our program, Hac Elite said Tuuve Häkkinen Cheerleading in the press release.
In the junior series, gold medals won Spirit Shakin ‘Blizzard from Tuusula in the girls’ cheer series and in the Tampere Dream Team Cheerleaders Rockcats Sekacheer Series.
