Second division experience for promoters

Second division promoted Dynamo Dresden reported the next newcomer on Sunday: from former league competitor FC Hansa Rostock, offensive player Nils Fröling changes to the Saxons. For the former U21 international in Sweden, it is the second stop in German professional football, past season had eight scorers in 29 third division.
“Nils brings a very intensive and physical way of playing that he was able to demonstrate in many games in the 2nd Bundesliga. He fits very well into our requirement profile and the game idea of Thomas Stamm, which is also characterized by a high level of running work. We are very pleased that he has chosen the way together,” said Thomas Brendel, Managing Director Sport at Dynamo.
The player himself added to the transfer: “For me, the step to Dresden and thus back to the 2nd Bundesliga felt like the right one. I could already get to know the league and know what it will be important. Now I hope that I can get to know the team quickly and hope to contribute my best for the joint success.”
Fröling was born in Dallas in the US state of Texas, but grew up in Sweden and played in youth at Boo FK, Åtvidaberg FF and Kalmar ff. In the latter he made the leap into professional football and he played 79 games in the first Swedish league before moving to Rostock in January 2022. At the Kogge, Fröling stood on the pitch in 61 games in the 2nd Bundesliga and 29 third division games.
