Around 6.20 pm the police received several reports from the park, Nassauplein and Zaanstraat. A witness tells AT5 that he heard about five shots. “I have seen several people running away and saw themselves hiding.”
Nobody wounded
According to a police spokesperson, there was indeed shot in the park. There are no indications that someone was injured.
The police are looking for the shooter. It is a man with a slightly tinted skin color, black long training pants and possibly a black cap. Whoever sees him is asked to call the police immediately.
Lots of witnesses
Because of the nice weather it was busy in the park. It therefore seems that there were many witnesses of the shooting.
Agents in bullet -proof vests were quickly on site. They have deposited part of the park with ribbon.
