KWS Saat wants to separate from its corn business in North America and sells its shares in joint ventures and licenses.

As the SDAX group announced in Einbeck on Friday after closing the stock market, it will in future be increasingly focused on the profitable corn business in the European market.

KWS Saatan wants to sell the 50 percent participations in the two North American joint ventures Agreliant and licenses for breeding material to the plant expert GDM based in Buenos Aires. The transaction volume for the shares lies in the low three-digit million range in US dollars and for the licenses in the medium double-digit million range. The exact purchase price height had been agreed, it said. The forecast for 2025 is unchanged. In green light from the authorities, KWS expects a degree in the third quarter.
