Defense, together with the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, will purchase ammunition that can erect a smokescreen around the new Jaguar and Griffon-Pant Servators. For Belgium, this is a total cost of 177.3 million euros for the period 2025-2031. According to Minister of Defense Theo Francken (N-VA), that system increases “directly protecting our troops on the site”.
