The TT City Run and TT Marathon can still take place on Sunday, November 16, 2025. The organization will come up with an alternative after the cancellation of the event on Saturday 21 June.
The organization had to put a line through the event earlier because of the expected heat. “The last few days have been working under great time pressure on a plan that is organizational and financially feasible,” the organization reports. “By maintaining existing registrations and offering room again for new participants, the event can continue in a responsible manner.
Chairman Stefan Zevenberg states that the decision was taken with care. “We have weighed everything up: the disappointment and at the same time heart -warming reactions from participants, the consequences for volunteers, partners, sponsors, suppliers and the impact on our foundation. With this solution we offer perspective and keep the event going.”
Participants do not have to register again. From Friday 11 July they will receive a personal mail with choice options. TT City Run and TT Marathon participants can participate in November with their current starting number.
TT City Run participants who were prevented in November can use a presale + discount for the edition in 2026. TT Marathon participants can convert their marathon ticket to a distance of your choice during the regular TT City Run 2026. The registration is re-open to all parts, so that new participants can also connect
