Alm-Siira says he has been dating from the age of 18. The news anchor feels that it was due, among other things, to the fact that he felt better to be in a relationship than alone.
– When I was young, the relationship may have been shorter, but I already had almost a date with the next one when one relationship fell. Perhaps, especially when younger, there was some fear of being alone, he says in the episode.

Alm-Siira has only been alone since his divorce. The news anchor remembers being alone that it seemed really strange.
– I must have been single for about a year and a half. It had time to go through all kinds of thoughts about a relationship. As may be that life can be sweet like this. Do I ever need to live with anyone again? The news anchor says.
– There was some self -protection when I thought that if I had said that I wanted to have a relationship, it would be a pretty cold feeling if I couldn’t find it. I’m not sure how honest I was for myself if I said, “If I have never been in a relationship, everything is still well,” he says.

In the end, love came as an Alm-Siira’s life when he met his current male friend Ilves and Tappara’s hockey match at the Nokia Arena in Tampere. Alm-Siira knew right from the first encounter that there was something special about the man. The man, on the other hand, was slowly warming.
Alm-Siira describes the start of a new relationship as having been different in adult life than when you were younger.
– I can’t get married for the first time. There are a lot of things that have already done. But they may be such “not important” things.
– Maybe such a cliché will come true when you go to a relationship as a parent, you learn from your own mistakes and leave a different line in that sense. Yes, you just know what you want from a relationship, for example.
Alm-Siira said in the spring of 2023 that he had found a new relationship. At that time, the couple had been dating for over a year. Alm-Siira published the first collaborative photos with his Antti love in early 2024 when they were on vacation in Levi.
Alm-Siira resigned from the father of his children Kalle from Siira In 2021 after nearly 15 years of marriage. They have two daughters.
