Irene Moors does not seem to see her participation in the successful the perfect picture as a prelude to more, because the presenter has no idea what to do. “Never get so much fun.”
Irene Moors (58) will probably regret the rest of her life that she made a failed switch from RTL 4 to SBS 6 in 2016. At the time, she was the longest-serving presenter of the TV channel and that would probably have been even if pride did not get in her way. She did get the chance to make Prime Time TV from the competitor.
‘Don’t know’
Unfortunately for Irene, she was not at all successful on Prime Time, and she should have just stayed pleasant in the afternoon with Carlo Boszhard. And who knows, at a certain point, a late weekend show had been resident at RTL 4. Unfortunately, Irene has been out for so long now, she has been somewhat soured and yet somewhat older.
Does she still see a TV comeback happening? What would she want to make? She says in the Story: “The most frequently asked question in recent years, and I really don’t know.”
‘Not for the viewer’
Irene is not really enthusiastic about a comeback, let alone the channel bosses. “I have been able to do so many fun things in those 35 years. Children’s and cooking programs, Sunday afternoon and talk shows, talent shows. And all on location. It will never be as fun as it was then. Not for me and not for the viewer.”
She continues: “Because you just count that it will compare. But never say. I still present at events and business meetings. I have not forgotten yet. So it may be going to happen, but I will not be counting anymore. I am very satisfied with my career so far.”
