A cyclist was seriously injured on Thursday evening during a collision with a delivery van. The accident happened at the intersection of the Handelsesteeg and the Esdonksedijk in Gemert.
In addition to the usual emergency services, a trauma helicopter was also used. The victim was taken to the hospital with unknown injury.
Nothing is yet known about the cause of the accident. The intersection is temporarily closed for police investigation.
