King Filip (65) and Queen Mathilde (52) cannot depart from Chile for the time being, where they had been on a state visit for the past three days. Their plane has been damaged when taxiing. The passengers, including our royalty expert Wim Dehandschutter, received the message that the departure is possible at the earliest “in a few hours”. Earlier, the outward flight had to be postponed by technical problems.
