City disassembles Juventus – and is a group winner

In Orlando, Juventus Turin and Manchester City dueled at the club World Cup for victory in the group G. The game became a one-sided affair.
Manchester City has completed a flawless group phase at the club World Cup and put another exclamation mark in the final game of the preliminary round. In the top game for victory in the group G, the team of ex-Bavaria coach Pep Guardiola prevailed 5: 2 (2-1) against the Italian record champions Juventus Turin on Thursday evening. The English won all three previous games in the tournament.
At the Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Jeremy Doku brought the “Skyblues” into the lead in the 9th minute. A mistake by goalkeeper Ederson immediately gave Juventus the equalization. The defeat is manageable for the “old lady”. Just like City, Juventus was already in the round of 16 before the last group game.
Al-Aain from the United Arab Emirates and Wydad AC from Morocco have been eliminated. The two teams met against each other in parallel to the game in Orlando in Washington DC. In the end, Al-A-A-Ach prevailed 2-1 (1: 1).
