Bavaria will probably agree with DFB striker Woltemade

FC Bayern wants to sign DFB striker Nick Woltemade. In the negotiations with the 23-year-old there was now a first breakthrough.
In the Bundesliga, an exchange hammer is making a mallet: FC Bayern is working on a commitment from Nick Woltemade. Now it is obviously certain that the attacker from VfB Stuttgart also wants to switch to Munich – and this summer. The Pay TV station Sky reports.
Accordingly, the German record champions and Woltemade have reached an oral agreement this week. Bayern coach Vincent Kompany and sports director Max Eberl and sports director Christoph Freund are said to have convinced the player in a video call to join the club.
What’s next? According to Sky, the Bayern supervisory board has already given the green light for the transfer. FC Bayern now has to negotiate with VfB Stuttgart.
Woltemade only switched from Werder Bremen to the Swabians last year. His contract with VfB runs until 2028 and should not have an exit clause. Stuttgart, inadued, absolutely wants to keep the 1.98 -meter offensive player. According to the “Bild” Podcast “Bavaria Insider”, the pain limit regarding the transfer fee is 60 million euros.
Woltemade is currently with the U21 national team at the European Championship in Slovakia. With six tournament hits so far, he leads the EM’s goal scorer list ahead of Liverpools Harvey Elliott (four goals). Woltemade was also successful in the 3-0 win in the semi-finals over France. On Saturday he can crown himself with the team of U21 national coach Antonio di Salvo. In the final, the DFB team meets England.
Before the U21 European Championship, Woltemade had already made his debut for the A selection of national coach Julian Nagelsmann. In the final Four of the Nations League, he was allowed to start against Portugal and France, knew how to please. In the Bundesliga, Woltemade had scored twelve goals in the past season. In the DFB Cup he was successful five times and triumphed VfB at the end of the season in the final over Arminia Bielefeld (4: 2).
