The American trade deficit was unexpectedly increased in May due to the largest fall in export since the start of the Coronapandemie. That is a disappointment for President Donald Trump, who sees the trade shortage of the United States as a major disadvantage and with his import taxes tries to force companies to do more production in the US itself.
