“Estranger Things”: What the future brings
“Estranger Things” (“alienated things”) is called Episode 18 of the 36th season and it has it tough. Unlike the ordinary episodes, in which Lisa and Bart still go to high school and lead a normal teenage life, this episode will play 35 years in the future. Lisa is now head of a women’s basketball league, while Bart runs a not quite legal retirement home in which Homer also lives. Important: the siblings are completely alienated.
Then comes the big reveal: When Lisa finds a video statement by Marge, the viewer becomes clear: Marge is dead. Why, when and how it died is not explained as a result. In the clip she asks her both: oldest children to put their differences aside. Lisa and Bart finally do this and save Homer from the home in which he lives under questionable circumstances.
The Internet reacts indignantly: “No fucking way”
As so often, the Internet is critical. Especially on x many encourage themselves: one: e user: In writes, for example: “That’s really a shame, man! […] I guess I will only look at the first 35 seasons so that Marge Simpson can live on forever. ” Another says very briefly: “No f ******* way.” Still others question the whole series: “Season 36? Just put the project on hold.”
But Marge Simpson’s death was probably just a small attack grave. Since the episode plays more than three decades in the future, it can be expected that they will continue to be seen in the upcoming seasons, which have already been confirmed.
