Axel Milliam starred Dal-The film just premiered, but unfortunately the Finnish actress couldn’t get there. The movie was presented Rainandancemovie festival. It was Milliam’s first international film role.
-The premiere has been expected as the moon rises. Now there are good feelings, Milliam says.
Miliam currently plays in Finland at the summer theater and therefore could not attend the premiere in England.
-After all, it was annoyed that I couldn’t get to the premiere. I communicated and played with a few colleagues about the feelings. It would have been great to experience it in England for a red carpet. Next time then.
Milliam says that colleagues said the event had had a great atmosphere. Two of the screenings were sold out, and Milliam says he has received a lot of positive comments on his own role.

The Dali movie received four nominations at the Raindance Festival.
– Cristopher Nolan’s Memento has been in a similar situation before. Yes, you can be proud of it.
Milliam says that acting in English is more natural than in Finnish. That is why the jump to international production did not seem very challenging.
– I have received my education in England, so that language is struck by the spine. I think everything is easier in English.
In the film, Milliam’s character is a Finnish background but moved to the United States a moment ago. Thus, the actor also got to use his Finnishness in the role.
– I got to play with the accents. At first I spoke with a Finnish accent and later as the movie progressed, I made the character’s accent smoother. In Finland, it cannot be done in the same way.
Milliam got to know the film director and screenwriter Mickey Angelov While studying in London at the Theater Academy. Angelov offered a role in millii and he agreed immediately. The director also offered Milliam a leading role in a new movie, which was supposed to begin at the beginning of this year. However, according to the actor, there have been some setbacks in production, which is why the start of the descriptions has been delayed.
In the summer Milliam plays French pajamas at the summer theater in Kangasala. He says it has been a nice project.
– I have bitten me badly. Awesome to get theater with friends. And you don’t have to stay at home when you can be home.
– I’ve done theater in England, but this is my debut on the Finnish theater stage.
