DFB defines Cup dates: BTSV game on free TV

Floodlights, defending champion, free TV: for Eintracht Braunschweig everything is arranged for a gripping cup evening. The DFB set the contemporary appointments on Wednesday.
Eintracht fans have to mark Tuesday, August 26, in the calendar. At 8:45 p.m. the duel with defending champion Stuttgart will kick off in the Eintracht Stadium. The date of the BTSV concerns a special regulation.
Because: Actually, the first round games in the cup are intended for the 15th, 16th and 17th of August. Because Eintracht opponent VfB Stuttgart is measuring this cup weekend in the Franz Beckenbauer-Cup-formerly Supercup-FC Bayern Munich, both VfB and FC Bayern have to avoid. On August 27th (8:45 p.m.), the Munich team will be guest at SV Wehen Wiesbaden.
Also good news for all Eintracht fans who cannot be in the stadium: the game against the reigning Cup champion Stuttgart is broadcast live on free TV. The ARD secured the rights. The Pay TV station Sky also shows the game. However, a paid subscription is necessary here.
For the other free broadcasts, the duel of the cup finalist and second division promoted Arminia Bielefeld and Bundesliga club Werder Bremen (August 15, 8.45 p.m., ZDF) and the derby of third division Rot-Weiss Red-Weiss Bundliga club Borussia Dortmund (August 18, 8.45 p.m., ARD). The ZDF also shows the guest performance of FC Bayern near Wehen Wiesbaden. All 32 rounds of rounds are also transmitted at Sky.
