Mika Salo now supports his son’s motor racing career.

Mika Salo, 58, is seeking retirement. He has almost completely omitted from working life.
– I won’t do any more. I have some management work, but no longer any dun. When I stopped most formulas, it was no longer any more. A few TV stuff, Salo says.
– I’ve tried to drop everything to retire. If you didn’t have to do anything, it would be the most fun.
However, it is easier said than done. The nature of the F1-Konkar does not give up.
– I’m a person that I want to do something all the time. I can’t be in my place. That’s why it’s so difficult to stop.
Racing career
Salo nowadays helps his son Max This is a motor racing career. Max, 23, competes in the Japanese Super Taikyu series, which runs long endurance competitions.
The boy is seeking professionalism.
– I try to give as much advice as possible. There are many bends on the way before driving, Dad says.

Salo does not blame money or sponsors on Max’s lap, even if there is certainly relationships.
– Max is allowed to do those things. I will try to stay away from them as much as possible.
Mika Salo’s own motoring trees have been low lately. He doesn’t even own a car.
– I’m so much traveling all the time. The car always molds in the stable and then when you need it, it doesn’t start. I got tired of it. I’d rather rent a car, he says.
Midsummer
Former F1 driver still lives in Estonia as the wife Annica Locals in Finland. However, the couple lives a common day on the trip.
On Midsummer, they were able to calm down the cottage, the beautiful scenery on the shore of the Gulf of Finland. However, the trip to Raseborg was a bit sad.
– We went to the cottage on Thursday and left on Saturday when it was so hell cold and it rained water. That’s enough, Salo times.
– We were a bit sad anyway when we died a dog just a couple of days earlier. We were with the two remaining there.
The Luna Dog received Uurna on Tuesday.
– Not terribly talked about it. It’s a sensitive place yet, Salo says.
