The 34-year-old Azaoum comes over from De Graafschap. There he was a trainer of the under-19 team. Before that he was an assistant trainer at NAC Breda and worked at VVV-Venlo. “I am really looking forward to working at Telstar. A nice club with character and ambition, I look forward to taking steps together,” said Azaoum on the Telstar website. In addition to Azaoum, Robbert Michielsen is the other assistant trainer at Telstar.
Roos Kwakkenbos is going to walk at Telstar
Next season, Roos Kwakkenbos will also walk a few times a week with the selection of head coach Anthony Correia. She started the training for the highest trainers diploma in May. If she gets the diploma, she can work as a head coach in professional football.
Kwakkenbos was active as a player for FC Utrecht. She also played three international matches for Orange. Due to an injury to her knee, she had to end her professional career early. She is currently the national coach of women under-19.
