At the weekend there was a huge fan festival of the sporting goods seller “Fanatics” in New York. Several superstars of the sports scene, influencers and fans were on site. Among other things, some were allowed to measure themselves with NFL icon Tom Brady, who, however, lived up to his reputation.

The seven-time Super Bowl winner competed on Sunday at the so-called “Fanatic Games”. Athletes and celebrities took part in this competition as well as 50 fans.

The 100 participants were able to compete in eight disciplines. Everyone had a sports connection, there was, among other things, a quarterback competition, a litter challenge in basketball, a football challenge and much more.

With 399.1 points, Brady secured first place and thus the main prize of one million dollars. Second, UFC fighter Justin Gaethje won a Ferrari 812 GTS as a “consolation price”.

However, Brady did not retain the prize money.

In addition to Brady and Gaethje, there were only two other athletes among the top ten participants: NBA star James Harden came in fourth place, Eli Manning fifth.

Matt Dennish, a 39-year-old teacher from Pennsylvania, secured third place in the competition. He ended the competition with 326 points and won a rookie collection card from LeBron James, of which there are only 50 copies and the condition of which was valued with 9.5 points out of 10 possible.

And here Tom Brady came into play again. The passionate sports card collector bought Dennish for $ 250,000 and, according to “Cllt.com”, even put a signed jersey and a signed collection card on it.
