HSV investor Klaus-Michael Kühne wants to sell part of his shares in the traditional club. The buyer is not yet known.
According to “Bild”, Klaus-Michael Kühne wants to sell 7.5 percent of his shares in the Bundesliga club Hamburger SV. A name was not mentioned, but the buyer should already be active in the HSV environment.
The Hamburg billionaire and entrepreneur Kühne (88) has so far owned around 21 percent of the shares. The majority of the KGAA (limited partnership on shares) continue to hold HSV EV with more than 70 percent.
At the general meeting on Saturday, CFO Eric Huwer announced good news. “The new HSV is debt-free,” said the 41-year-old. “The net financial liabilities are zero at the end of this financial year. For the first time in the history I know, the HSV is therefore debt-free,” said Huwer.
