On the Heistraat in Oosteind, two people were seriously injured on Monday evening in an accident between a funeral car and a car. The accident happened shortly before half pastelf. The cars collided head -on.
Four ambulances, three fire trucks and a trauma helicopter were called to provide assistance. The damage to both cars is huge. It is unclear whether a deceased person was transported in the funeral car.
Screens have been placed to shield the place of the accident. The Heistraat is completely closed.
