The Adidas collaboration with Oasis has just been announced and Liam Gallagher is already committed to speaking to himself and against critics: to betting inside. And in his usual way – via X. directly, unfiltered and with a clear opinion. There he writes: “Stop crying your eyes out of your head.”
Liam Gallagher: “Jammt […] Not about it, your wimps “
Liam Gallagher, brother of Noel Gallagher and singer of the British band Oasis, is now almost as well known for his tweets as for his music. Now he takes the criticism of the new Adidas collaboration.
He writes that he hears a lot of talk about whom the collaboration is actually intended and makes it clear: “It is there for everyone, so take part and stop crying your eyes out of your head.”
If you don’t feel addressed, you should just keep out: “And if you don’t like it, you just don’t buy it, but don’t whine about it, you wisty eggs.” He emphasizes that Oasis does not exclude anyone (“Oasis discriminates against anyone”) and he counters on the idea that the collection is only made for a specific target group, with the sentence: “It is there for everyone, old and young.”
What its reaction refers to is not clear, because the echo for collaboration is mostly positive.
There are only a few critical comments. A user on X writes, for example: “But I can’t wait to spend a damn fortune on clothing that should not be sold at the price to which it is sold.”
Adidas collaboration for the Oasis reunion
Tracksuits belong to British culture almost as well as tea. Especially in the context of the Britpop of the 90s, they are indispensable and Oasis were right in the middle of it. So now comes the big collab: as part of the preparation for the announced “Live 25” reunion tour of the band. Among other things, it includes Firebird training suits, raglan jerseys, fishing hats and coach jackets.
