In cooperation with the French Faience Manufaktur Faïencerie de Gien, an upcyling capsule was created, Marine Serre said on Saturday. This includes a coffee cup set, a cup and different plates, of course in the crescent design typical of the brand.
“Marine Serre Maison goes far beyond fashion. It was only natural to develop the brand’s lifestyle side,” said the founder of the same name. “Gien has always been a reference, and this cooperation reflects our common values: the conservation of meaningful crafts in a world driven by speed. Our iconic monogram now lives on a different kind of canvas – penetrating memory, as always upcycling for everyday life.”
Each piece is manufactured in the workshops of Gien using local materials and timeless methods. The ceramic specialist was previously responsible for tiles in the Paris Metro and the dishes of the luxurious train service Orient-Express.
The dishes have been available since June 23 and costs between 80 euros for the coffee mug and 180 euros for the coffee cup set consisting of two cups and the right saucer.
