If the DFB team manages to the last four of the tournament, it goes against the “Équipe tricolore”-for which an old acquaintance was successful.

Mathys Tel shot France’s U21 footballer into the semi-finals of the European Championship. The ex-attacker of FC Bayern Munich, who moved to Tottenham Hotspur after his loan, hit victory at 3: 2 (1: 1) in the quarterfinals against Denmark in the 85th minute.

Clement Bischoff (18th minute) put the outsider from Denmark in the lead, Djaoui Cisse (44.) met before the break. The renewed Danish leadership of Oliver Sörensen (49.) then turned the French in the final phase – within two minutes. Shortly before Tels Gate, Quentin Merlin had taken care of the equalization.

Even in the group phase, France had proven morality in the 3-2 against Georgia and won after behind. In the semifinals, France would be the opponent of the German team if the DFB-Elf against Italy made it to the last four on Sunday evening.
