The weather at the Hurricane Festival 2025 could not have been better so far: In bright sunshine this weekend (20th to June 22nd), 65,000 visitors to bands like Green Day, Alligatoah, SDP, The Prodigy and Apache 207. However, since the high temperatures are to say goodbye, many camper are asking themselves or if we still have a thunderstorm and rain?
Hurricane: The weather on Sunday
Already (as of 3 p.m.) the sun is hidden a little behind the veil clouds and the wind freshens up. Nevertheless, the festival goers have to cope with 30 degrees Celsius on the festival site and the campsite. Everyone would welcome a little drizzle. Only at the hurricane you have to be prepared for sudden storms.
Festival manager Stephan Thanscheidt explains to the weather on Sunday in the final press conference at the Hurricane Festival: “The weather was great. We also think that it stays that way today. If there is a thunderstorm, we are prepared, but the meteorologists expect nothing dramatic. If there are changes, there will be announced about the known channels.”
Probably no weather caps at the hurricane
These are good news for everyone who is still looking forward to acts such as SDP and Green Day this evening (June 22nd). If you are too warm during the day, you can refresh yourself at the numerous free water stations on the site. In addition, visitors have the opportunity to stand under the spray cannon between River Stage and Forest Stage. Several spectators made a longer break there on Saturday to cool off.
The best shadow places on the festival site
If you are looking for shadows, you can stay on the small wall between tent stage and Forest Stage. An alternative is the field area near Mountain Stage. In the afternoon and early evening hours you can hear acts on the red stage via the open emergency exit and relax at the same time without the sun.
