Roads and traffic releases second lane when working Kennedytunnel: worst traffic jams on Antwerp ring

Around 7 pm a second lane was released in the Kennedytunnel. For a whole day it was about two hours on the ring in the direction of Ghent. This morning at 7.30 am two lanes were blocked due to an accident, but the traffic jam continued to grow through the works in the Kennedytunnel and the hustle and bustle towards the coast. AWV changed the plans of the works in the late afternoon to release an extra lane faster. At 7 pm it was still half an hour from Merksem.
