During the night from Friday to Saturday, a fierce fire broke out in Hotel Callecanes, along the Callicnesweg in Watou in West Flanders (Poperinge). The emergency services rushed on the spot en masse. In the meantime, the fire is under control. About twenty people were evacuated from the building, but luckily no one was injured. The damage is considerable.
