In the European Union, Chinese companies are no longer allowed to compete for public tenders for medical material – from plasters and tools such as mouth masks to equipment – for amounts of more than 5 million euros. The European Commission announced this on Friday. In addition, Chinese products may only make up for a maximum of half of successful bids.
