The switch from Florian Wirtz to Liverpool FC is considered a decided thing. Now the player is on the way to England for a last formal.
Florian Wirtz is apparently on the way to Liverpool to complete the medical check for his switch to the “Angeld Road”. The “Bild” newspaper caught the 22-year-old international on Thursday afternoon at the Terminal for Private Jets of the Airport in Cologne.
From there, according to the report, the plane made its way to Manchester, from where Wirtz should continue to Liverpool. It was previously reported that Wirtz should complete his medical check in Liverpool on Friday and then officially make the change. The “Bild” also published photos of wit at the airport. Wirtz ‘girlfriend Aaliyah as well as his parents Hans Wirtz and Karin should also be on board.
Leverkusen and Liverpool are said to have agreed on a transfer of up to 150 million euros including various bonus payments for a transfer from Wirtz. That would make him the most expensive Bundesliga and Premier League transfer in history. Wirtz is to sign a contract in Liverpool until 2030.
