YleX presenter Melina “Mellu” Mäkelä Has been in the news lately because of his so -called “poop”. In May, Mäkelä said in a radio broadcast he was afraid to go out if his partner was at home at the same time.
Now Mäkelä tells Iltalehti that shame is still under construction.
– I haven’t been able to do anything yet. But it is said that it is under the exercise. Certainly that fear will decline and things are slowly changing. But I haven’t even been actively thinking about the whole thing, he says.
Mäkelä says he has received numerous messages from people, where they say they have also experienced a poop. He has also received messages that have been wondering by email.
– A few people have said that they have never even heard of this. I have just stated that “clear, some experience and some do not.”
Holiday and love
Mäkelä is currently on a summer vacation until July 6, and he has planned to visit the cottage and the Ruisrock Festival. The presenter gives his tips for those suffering from the poop who are excited to go to the bathroom, for example, in the cottage.
– At the cottage, one can always say that others can go to the wood job while herself in the hustle and bustle, Mäkelä suggests.
– Yes, everyone knows that when you have to go to the bathroom, then you have to go. If you are not afraid to go to public places in the toilet, then you can go before going to the place, he says

Mäkelä is also planning to leave for his partner’s parents’ cottage in Vaasa. The open couple recently moved together. According to Mäkelä, their coexistence has gone well and so far without disagreement.
– But we are going people and we have work and hobbies at different times. But yes, we are pretty nicely flowing together, says the presenter.
– Maybe of course there has always been something small. Of course, when you move with another, you get to know her lifestyle. But it has gone really well, he adds.
According to Mäkelä, their love story began last year when he visited his Ylex colleagues Waterfallprogram. They wanted to shoot a video from the scenes of the program and tried to find a person who could describe that clip.
Eventually, the video was taken by Mäkelä’s future partner.

After the broadcast, Mäkelä returned to talk to the man again.
– My co -workers have said that I was reportedly a flirt. I don’t remember myself that I would have flirted at all, says Mäkelä.
– Later in the evening, he sent me a message on Instagram and we started chatting. Then last summer we went in peace, saw and met each other’s families. In July last year, we officially started dating, he continues.
From the outset, the couple agreed that they do not keep their relationship secret.
– However, we both do social media, so we would always publish something sometimes.
According to Mäkelä, the man has treated his unmarried partner from Kakkahupee to news with humor.
– He has laughed at this whole thing. For us, this is a funny thing that such an everyday and identifying thing gets so much media attention.
