From the beach onto the plate?
Already on Tuesday (June 16) the association took air in a public statement on the homepage: “The procedure could have been completed earlier and before the last match day,” writes the club, which now has a mega problem. Most players are far from their homeland. The Dessauer actors include Argentina and Indonesia. “The holidays naturally granted and paid for the player before the game against Tusem Essen (April 27) and the player was booked and paid for,” said the association.
According to the HBL, both clubs would have to completely withdraw from the statutory recreational leave granted for the period from the last game of the season to June 30th and instruct the players with immediate effect to return from vacation. So far the theory. Legal and economical, this is anything but easy. “Such a procedure is basically not to be mastered logistically,” the association makes it clear. Even when the vacation is returned, an orderly training company is hardly possible until shortly before the game, the club describes the dilemma.
