Third division TSV 1860 Munich has hired center forward Justin Steinkötter from the regional league team TSV Steinbach. The 25-year-old comes to Grünwalder Strasse free of charge, the lions did not provide any information about the length of the contract. For the club, the two -footed attacker is the fourth newcomer to the 2025/26 season.
Steinkötter comes to Munich with the experience of 48 third division, he contributed 26 scorers in 33 leaguea products for Steinbach. “I am happy to be with such a great traditional club,” said the new number 9 of the Sechzger. “The decision was easy for me. We had very good conversations and I am ready for a successful season with the lions.”
“Justin is a very interesting player who with his way of playing and suits us with his mentality excellently,” added 1860 Managing Director Dr. Christian Werner. In the past, the strong striker has already proven his goal instinct several times. “At the age of 25, he is ready to take a new attempt in the 3rd league. I am pleased that, despite the interest of several clubs, he chose us,” said Werner.
