Ozzy Osbourne announced on Wednesday that his all-star party concert “Back to the Beginning” will be broadcast worldwide in the live stream on July 5th.

The one-day benefit concert in Birmingham, England, will include solo appearances in Osbournes and a complete appearance with the reunited original line-up of Black Sabbath. Metallica, Guns N ‘Roses, Slayer, Tool, Lamb of God and other acts inspired by Osbourne appear.

Further information on the Pay-Per-View event can be found on the streaming page of “Back to the Beginning”. “It is time to go back to the beginning. Time to return something to the place where I was born,” said Osbourne in a statement in February about his “last” concert. “How blessed I am doing this with the help of people I love. Birmingham is the true home of the metal. Birmingham forever.”

Black-Sabbath reunion and other metal icons

In addition to the concert itself, a new documentary with the title “No Escape from Now” will also be released, the Osbournes serious health setbacks since 2019 and the decision on the farewell concert in its hometown. The film will be premiered later this year at Paramount+.

Another bizarre message about Ozzy announced that his DNA was taken for a limited special campaign with the beverage manufacturer Liquid Death. Ten empty doses were sold icing, from which the singer drank personally.

Documentation and DNA campaign with Liquid Death

“Yes, we actually made the Prince of Darkness to drink from ten doses of our low -calorie iced tea,” said Liquid Death. “And yes, he crushed every can by hand. He left saliva and thus traces of his DNA. Which you can now own. He even provided every label with its signature.”

The company added: “As soon as it allow technology and law, you can clone ozzy Osbourne and enjoy it hundreds of years.”

Osbourne commented on the campaign. “My DNA is in this can. You could clone me. But why should you want to do that?”

Despite the information from Liquid Death that “the integrity of the DNA and clone results cannot be guaranteed”, all ten doses, each cost $ 450, are already sold out.
