Herrera and Figal van Boca for four duels suspended
10.42 am: Other Herrera and Nicolas Figal from Boca Juniors may have already played their last game at the World Cup for clubs. They are suspended for four duels for the red card they received during a duel with Benfica (2-2).
Herrera received a red card for criticism of the referee. That happened after he had gone to the side with a muscle injury. Figal received a red card in the final phase for a hard violation on Florentino Luis. Benfica ended the game with ten men after a red card for Andrea Belotti, who was suspended for two duels.
Boca Juniors does not agree with the suspensions. According to a spokesperson, the Argentinian club is considering appealing to World Football Association FIFA. Boca Juniors will play against Bayern Munich on Friday at the World Cup for clubs.
Faters eliminated in the first round of European Championships
