Sonja Bakker’s lament yesterday resulted in the least viewed episode of Hoge Bomen ever. Everyone zapped around Jeroen van der Boom’s SBS 6 talk show.
It is quite embarrassing how deep Jeroen van der Boom goes into it every weekend with his celebrities colleagues. Yesterday he let Sonja Bakker deflate in his talk show Hoge Bomen. The result? Never before has the program been viewed so poorly. Only 307 thousand people (7% market share) watched.
High Trees is a flop
It was Sonja’s first appearance since the massive plagiarism riot. She pointed an accusing finger at the media, because they would twist everything. A huge cry story and the viewer is not waiting for that at all.
Jeroen van der Boom’s talk show seems to be a bit out anyway. The top three least-watched episodes ever are completely filled by those from the past three weeks. Besides Sonja, guests Najib Amhali (386 thousand) and Ronald Koeman (444 thousand) also scored poorly. And that while the kick-off with Frans Bauer was a hit: 897 thousand viewers.
Rachel is muddling through
What makes it all the more painful for Jeroen? On the Saturday evening of SBS 6, he also presents the program prior to Hoge Bomen, namely Hazes is de Basis, in which Rachel Hazes is his regular guest. That musical TV show also puts down poor viewing figures, every week. For example, only 297 thousand people (6%) watched it yesterday.
One thing is certain: the viewer increasingly seems to zap around slimy and unloved celebrities. It’s no secret that Jeroen and Rachel don’t exactly have a huge fan base.
All of Holland Bakes at #1
What did the viewer watch on Saturday evening? André van Duin takes the viewing figure gold with his TV show Heel Holland Bakt, good for a score of 2.2 million viewers (40%). Immediately afterwards, Paul de Leeuw 60 Jaar still had 1.2 million viewers (26%).
The silver is for RTL 4: Weet Ik Veel attracted 1.2 million viewers (23%) and VriendenLoterij Miljonairs had 942 thousand (21%). Furthermore, NPO 2’s Nieuwsuur (534 thousand) and Hidden Past (441 thousand) were the most popular. Only then will the programs of SBS 6 follow.
Viewing figures
Programs that (also) did not reach the top fifteen viewing figures include Shownieuws (485 thousand), Winter Time (393 thousand) and Follow me still (275 thousand).
