In the market value update of the Scottish Premiership, Celtic Glasgow has cemented its dominance in the country. The Bhoys, who had crowned a master for the 13th time in 14 years, expand their lead as the most valuable club in Scotland. Daizen Maeda (27), which shone in 51 competitive games with 45 goal participants, had a significant part in the success. The wing striker is now the most valuable player of the Premiership.
Maeda climbs 4 million to 15 million euros as the largest winner. The Japanese pushes himself in front of his teammate Cameron Carter-Vickers (27), who remains at 14 million euros. “Maeda has been rightly praised for his tireless efforts since moving to Celtic, but last season he has significantly increased his offensive performance,” says Euan Robertson, content manager at the UK transfer market. “He scored 33 goals across competition and thus increased his previous record at Celtic of eleven goals in the 2022/23 season.”
Celtic now has the five most valuable players in Scotland in his ranks, in addition to Maeda, his compatriot Reo Hatate (27) also booked a plus – by 2 million to EUR 13 million. After Maeda and Miller, Nicolas Raskin (24) grows the most, the Belgian in the service of the Rangers is now the most valuable player away from Celtic. The market value of the midfielder is upgraded by EUR 3.5 million. “Raskin finally demonstrated his undeniable potential in 2025.
