Like many other celebrities, D66 leader Rob Jetten was also present at the BN’er party Amsterdam Dinner last weekend. Officially, that event is intended to compete against AIDS, but that has become a side issue between all glitter and glamor. Anyway: Rob is caught on the red carpet without a wedding ring.

Hockey ring

Rob asked his friend Nicolás Keenan, an Argentinian prof hockey player who is also known as the ‘Hockeyhunk’, to marry him in November. They also showed their engagement ring on Instagram at the time.

Story boss Guido den Attrekker, however, wonders what is going on now. He says in Shownieuws: “We noticed that he no longer had his engagement ring. Last November he went to his knees for Nicolas and they were very happy with each other. We spoke to him so we asked.”

“Show Ring!”

Shownieuws reporter Thom Goderie asks Rob on the red carpet: “Yes, Rob, can I see him, the ring?”

Rob on that: “The ring? Yes, I’m caught! I don’t get him around! I hope Nico doesn’t look now, because then I have a fight right away.”

Thom: “Why not?”

Rob: “Yes, I was sports and then I had finished him and I forgot to do it again. Oh, how bad!”

No crisis

According to Rob there is no question of a relationship crisis. “There is no crisis, absolutely not, and I am also very happy that the elections are already falling before, because then they will certainly not be able to cross our wedding plans.”

It is really going to happen, he sweats. “The great thing is, with an Argentinian mother -in -law, that I really have nothing to say. She is going to organize it all well, but it will be a nice ceremony in a garden, then nice drinks and eating.”

Great chaos

Rob expects a top wedding. “We both have very large families. I of course Brabant Catholic and Nicolas Argentinian, so I think it will be a big cozy chaos.”

Are there also political colleagues? “As little as possible, because we want to make it a fun party.”

Does the wedding ring go immediately at home again? “Yes, sorry, will be okay, I’ll never forget it again!”
