There they are. Nice to an ice cream or a cup of coffee or tea. In the meantime, a balloon man all blows shapes and some Kubb play. The holiday has started for residents of the Westerkim residential care center.

And how. A real campsite has been set up in the garden of the complex in Hoogeveen. A large tent, a caravan, a party tent and a small tent in the form of a Volkswagen camper. And all tables and chairs, and parked walkers.

“We are all going to do activities at the campsite. From just drinking coffee together to barbecuing,” says Ria Knotters, chairman of the board of directors. Every day there is entertainment at the campsite. A drum workshop is given, music is provided and they can all play games.
