“Be sure to take a chance”

The 1. FC Nürnberg has committed another talent from a Bundesliga club. The only 17-year-old central defender Kristian Mandic comes from the youngsters of Eintracht Frankfurt and meets his previous U19 captain Ayoub Chaikhoun (19) at the club. Mandic is the fifth teenager from the upper house among the seven new additions to the second division club.
Mandic was an integral part of the U19 of the Frankfurt season in the past season, completed 27 games (two goals) and missed only one game. The defense talent immediately gets into training the FCN reserve, in the coming week the summer preparation of the professionals.
“With the commitment of Kristian Mandic, we have managed to convince a great talent for the central defense of our plan. He is a very intelligent and modern central defender for his age. We will be careful and developed so that we can still enjoy him in the coming years,” said sports director Joti Chatzialexiou.
Mandic added: “I really wanted to notice the chance to be able to do my next career steps at the FCN. I look forward to developing here with a clear plan as a player.”
