A car was destroyed by fire on Sunday evening near the fire station on the Duivenakker in Aarle-Rixtel. It was a scrap car that was in the parking lot at the barracks.
The car fire was discovered around Halfwaalfal. The car was recently used during an exercise. These types of cars then put in the parking lot and then be taken to a scrap yard.
The fire brigade was logically quick and extinguished the car wreck. How the fire could arise is not clear. A spontaneous fire is almost excluded.
