Northern Ireland’s darts professional Josh Rock and Daryl Gurney won the title at the team World Cup for the first time.
At the tournament in Frankfurt am Main, the duo prevailed in the final in the final with 10: 9 against Wales (Jonny Clayton and Gerwyn Price). Rock and Gurney still came on stage. Gurney knelt to the ground in the ice rink, he fought with his feelings.

The German duo Martin Schindler and Ricardo Pietreczko had previously defeated 1: 8 against Northern Ireland.
The semi -finals with victories over Topfavorit England (8: 4) and Australia (8: 7) was a surprise. The first title win at a major tournament failed to materialize for the hosts.
