Former top shooter Kaisa Mäkäräinen On Saturday and Sunday night, he admired the unique atmosphere of the Jukola message and shared his experiences in Instagram’s stories.

Mäkäräinen, 42, participated in a major orienteering event in Mikkeli and recorded the night atmosphere for his followers. Videos can be viewed for a day from here.

In one update, Mäkäräinen described the impressive departure moment, where orienteers rushed with the headlamps in the twilight of the summer night.

Mäkäräinen shared an official video of Jukola’s message, where the departure was even more clear.

“The video with a professional camera looks even better,” the ex-skier said.

Mäkäräinen also showed a glimpse of his accommodation by posting a picture of a magnificent cottage beach. The morning light and lake landscape finished the idyllic Jukola atmosphere.

He also stayed well at the situation in the cottage, as the event’s description went a long way.

Overwhelming show

Competitively, Jukola’s message was once again a show for Swedish team Stora Tuna. The club won its sixth consecutive victory with a clear difference. Second -place Norwegian Ntnui was more than eight minutes away.

The best Finn was responsible for the Helsinki Orienteering. Olli Ojanaho Anchoring the team in third place, but the difference between the winners was over 16 minutes.
